it's been a slow week. i bought two pairs of skinny jeans (gray and black) and some black flats. i also broke down and bought a cheapo pair of sunglasses. a knockoff rayban pair, but sexy nonetheless.

now i have quite the dilemma. do i keep growing my bangs out or do i blunt them up again? this growcut period is killing me. a solid structure of bobby pins isn't fun!

monday night

last night, i attended a jules of morocco fashion show with a friend. although the designs were mainly designed for older women, i found a few pieces that intrigued me. a black sleeved shawl and an off-the-shoulder top really caught my attention.
i've had friends suggest that i start designing my own clothing, but my lack of skill and patience always chase me off. maybe i'll buy a sketch book tonight and see where it takes me.

agyness deyn's sister has released shirt called "long may she reign" under the hussaindeyn label. they are a kickback to warhol with a modern new wave edge.

watched coco chanel (lifetime movie) last night. it was so-so. shirley maclaine started off with choppy sentences in a french accent, but by the end the french accent was gone. where did it go?
inspiring movie? yes. great acting? mediocre.

forever 21 is releasing a plus size line this spring/summer. i'm excited for the curvy, sassy women! from the pictures i've seen, the clothes are way cuter than any dumpster rags sold at torrid. (torrid clothes are too expensive for what they really are...poorly constructed garments that lose shape and wear easily.) hopefully, the forever 21 plus line will be better constructed for all bodies while keeping the price decent. that's all anybody truly wants!

i'm wearing new jeans today. seriously, it feels like i'm walking in a sea of sandpaper. although, they make me swagger like no other.
i didn't watch make me a supermodel last night! aaaah! it's recorded though, so i'll be able to skip through all the mundane commercials. i still think ronnie should have won last season. he seems like a genuine person and doesn't have a voice that annoys the hell out of me.
watchmen is out friday! woo! i'm a little excited. i haven't seen matthew goode on screen in ages! now there's a voice that's just melting.
i've been secretly obsessed with skinny suspenders the past few days. i haven't purchased any, but just the thought of them with a mini skirt...yess....!

McQ for Target was officially released today. I made some phone calls ahead of time, yet it's not at my Target. What? I guess that's understandable. I would rather see it on few than the masses. I can't help it.
Thinking about taking a mini trip for my birthday. I would love to go to H&M. All my clothes feel so blah lately. Maybe I'll just arrange a clothing swap. Or better yet, I should get off my ass and learn how to make clothes myself. These little hands must be good for something.

dreams/new favorite

lady gaga. unusual clothing choices, but damn i can't help but admire her for it. i haven't seen a good diversion in a while. it's much better than the lumberjack 1992 look i've been noticing.

had weird dreams. people were breaking into my house and i had to detain them. i knew cop moves in this dream......weird dream transition...... i'm in a car on a freeway and there are people in the car i haven't talked to in ages......there is a road sign and it says maryland 10 miles. the scenery outside is trees and lakes.....i'm in a mexican restaurant everyone is talking loud.
i don't really know what that all means, but it was almost scary.
